Welcome

Through our Community Hub in Cleethorpes and using practical support and development, we’re helping people across North East Lincolnshire thrive.

Welcome

What are we about?

The overall aim of Capacity Buildings Limited is to enhance the capability of voluntary and community groups and social enterprises in North East Lincolnshire to deliver their  services across the borough through the provision of managed workspace with attached supportive infrastructure.

We offer both virtual support and a community ‘micro-hub’ where small informal groups of residents can access practical support alongside other resources required to grow and develop whatever community endeavours they are interested in.

Together with this, the company aims to encourage economic development and enterprise growth within the local community and across North East Lincolnshire by delivering its services in local communities such as Cleethorpes for the direct benefit of its residents.

Headlines and latest news

Capacity Buildings has just completed its Reaching Communities Grant from the National Lottery Community Fund to deliver a “Green Box” food scheme across our area. It will help residents at risk from COVID 19 by enabling them to grow their own produce to eat and to engage in positive activities during long periods of social isolation.

We own a holiday home at Thorpe Park on behalf of Big Local North Cleethorpes and it will be open for bookings after the current lockdown ends. Residents within the North Cleethorpes area can book it via Thorpe Park as part of their normal lettings arrangements. Read more on the Big Local site here.
