About the Space
In 2019 Capacity Buildings Ltd (a Cleethorpes based Social Enterprise) received a grant from the National Lottery Heritage Fund. With this we began to research the history of the Francis Willmer McAulay Memorial Cottages in Aylesby, North East Lincolnshire.
There is a website for that project at www.memorialcottages.org.uk
As part of that project, this Local History discussion website was also created.
The main website does not include a blog as such, so we use this space on Local History to share our updates and information.
