Project: Going Green Pop Ups

We are delighted to announce that we have been awarded lottery funds to deliver our going green pop-up events in rural areas across North East Lincolnshire.
Over the summer we will use a variety of media to promote our work to residents in Immingham and the Wolds villages. We will be inviting families with young children who inspired us to develop the project. They will be sharing their experiences of going green and in turn aiming to encourage other families to join in.
There are already lots of different green volunteering opportunities for families and younger residents to get involved with including allotment ownership, after school clubs, beach clean-up, recycling events plus much more. So come and find out at our events or call into the office at 82 Grimsby Road, DN35 7DP.
We will be demonstrating green activities and supporting families with young children to join voluntary groups involved with green events such as litter picking in their villages, community greening and gardening projects, walking clubs and also how to set up their own group activity if interested.
